Nacional’s 20 year old Uruguayan defender, Sebastian Coates, has bid his farewells to his team-mates and is heading to Liverpool to complete a deal worth a potential £8M with Liverpool Football Club.
After starring as the young player of this summer’s Copa America, Coates has been the subject of intense discussion behind the scenes at Anfield for the past few months – with Kenny Dalglish discussing the player with his fellow international teammate Luis Suarez.
Sebastian Coates is due to arrive in Liverpool on Friday to complete terms and undergo a medical, before attending Saturday’s match against Bolton at Anfield.
